Much to my dismay, Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings will NOT be in the Superbowl this year facing the Colts.

The Saints beat him like a drum Sunday, and even had the Vikings won, I doubt Brett would have had much energy left to face the Colts in the Superbowl. It was a good run, just hated to see that INT with seconds left on the clock. His "40-year old ness" started to show.

Maybe it is destiny for the Saints this year. New Orleans has been through so much. As much as I enjoy watching Peyton dismantle a defense, this win would me ten times more to that city.

Later this week, mother nature is thinking about laying another "smack down" on the city. Setting up for a "icy mix" a scenario that needs to be watched for the week ahead.

Today (Monday) it's just flat out WINDY!
