Well, I've finally come down off my "NASA High" after being part of the "Tweet Up" for STS-135. Atlantis came home safely, the shuttle program has come to an end.
But let's remember, it's not the end of NASA or the Space Program! The ISS is still orbiting and crew members are working on science experiments.
We will continue to watch, and wait, to see how the United States responds to the need for transportation to/from the space station. We can't rely on others, forever.

Summer is winding down here in the Mid-South. Hurricane Irene spent the weekend blasting the mid-atlantic coastal states as a Cat 2 storm, and then a record "rain maker" for the northeast.
