Claudette vs. Mid-South

A couple of things to keep in mind, if you are concerned about this Tropical Storm heading out way.

First, it's breaking up as it approaches and has just lost it's "Tropical Storm" status.

Second, as a Tropical Depression, it will be centered over north Mississippi around midnight.

Third, it will be breezy and wet across north MS and west TN Tuesday, but the greatest threat of any "severe" weather will likely be well off to our east. Alabama, middle Tennessee.

Stay tuned to WREG News Channel 3 for the latest... or check back in on this blog.

A very cool and "inter active" web site for those interested in Tropical Weather, is from "Storm Pulse."

Remember, with this you can click on the storm name, move around the map, add computer models, lots of options in "checking out" a storm.
